Does it ever happen that you send a message, and within a few seconds you find out a glaring typo? Well, there is an edit button to save you on Telegram, but not so much on Twitter. All you have to do is select the message and tap on the “Edit (pen)” icon at the top and you can easily edit the message. However, it will show you an “Edited” label after you have made the changes. Also, there are no time-bound restrictions for editing messages on Telegram. You can only edit messages up to 48 hours of sending them (forever if the messages are posted in your “Saved Messages” chat). Hopefully, I have listed enough Telegram features to help you understand why the Telegram app is so popular and secure. Use Hashtags to Organize Your Chats
System Default (Android) or System (iOS): Matches the theme to your operating system's current mode. Telegram Mute Option Share Live Location To lock your messages, go to “Settings”, “Privacy and Security” and tap on “Passcode Lock”. You will be asked to set a four-digit passcode and confirm it. Once you do that, you will find additional options to “unlock the app with fingerprint” and “auto-lock” it after a specific duration.
This update is being rolled out gradually. If your app is not offering you to update, please wait – the new version will become available soon. Telegram API: lets you create your own customized Telegram clients. You can read Telegram’s open-source code to know how the platform works. If you are using Telegram on your PC, Laptop, or another device, your secret chat is only visible to your device that you started it. You can choose to share either your current or your live location. Send My Current Location will provide a one-time update about where you are. As you can see in the below image, the app lets you manually change this before sending, so don't trust locations blindly. In addition to manually selecting a point on the map, you can choose a nearby place from a list.
Turn Off Notifications for Individual Contacts Speaking of multiples, Telegram allows you to upload additional profile photos. While the latest photo is the profile picture your contacts will see, they can swipe to see the rest of your pictures.
